Why my decorations are not “just sheets”

My decorations are not serial banners or printed sheets that are rolled up and put away in storage after the party...

These are handmade string art works, where each piece is original. Every nail, every thread, every knot has its place. And with that comes what the average visitor never sees.

The reality of transportation and use at an event

Whenever I move to a party or festival:

-the works are loaded in a car on top of each other

-the nails regularly come loose during transport

-the edges of the strings get bent and damaged in the suitcase

-after returning from the event, I often find that 4-5 pieces need repair or renovation

-some parts have to be repainted, re-touched, and re-shaped

This means that the event does not end with the last track.

For me, it often continues for hours or even days of work after returning home.

A value that is not visible at first glance!

These works contain:

-countless hours of manual labor

-years of experience, searching for shapes and techniques

-material: wood, nails, cotton, paints, UV coatings

-the entire stage concept, which was created gradually over several years

I personally spent approximately 4 weeks of pure creation on the main stage. (approx. 7-8 hours a day/1 piece)

And that's not to mention all the other works that I bring with me to events.

No one will ever calculate how much effort, time and energy is put into them...

Prepares a set in a few hours, or the best a few days in advance

and gets his fee for it - rightfully so

As a visual artist, I:

-spend weeks creating

-invest my own money in materials

-risk damaging my works at every event

-and so far I have often heard: "Be glad that you are making yourself visible."

Event decoration is now a fully-fledged paid service, not sponsoring events on my behalf.

Price conditions

Basic price for event decoration:

from €150 – smaller club, indoor event, one-night event

from €250 – larger space, festival, outdoor, for two-three nights

The price depends on:

The expected number of participants, size of the space, scope of decorations, estimated installation time, location and transport logistics

Every event has the same basic rules.

I do not make exceptions – precisely to make the conditions fair for everyone.
