Blooming Anise is a handcrafted psychedelic mandala inspired by the star-shaped geometry of the anise flower 🌿

The composition blends precise geometric structure with intuitive UV dotting, resulting in a mandala that feels both organic and intentional 🎨

Crafted from recycled wood, the piece carries a quiet message of transformation and reuse ♻️
Every line and knot was woven by hand using traditional tools, combining accuracy with the imperfections that give handmade art its soul.

This artwork exists as a single, non-reproducible original — only one was ever made.
Blooming Anise was created in collaboration with Paula Lašová, my former art school colleague from Zvolen, adding shared creative energy to the piece.

Blooming Anise is more than wall decor.
It is a glowing floral mandala designed to bring balance, rhythm, and quiet psychedelic warmth into space.
