Colorsun #33 – Large-Scale Handmade UV Reactive String Art Installation
Colorsun #33 is the final and most refined piece of the Colorsun series — a large-scale geometric string art installation designed as a true visual centerpiece. With dimensions of 178 × 111 cm and a weight of approximately 4,850 g, this artwork goes beyond wall décor and enters the realm of spatial art and installation.
The composition is built from carefully aligned wooden slats, each one secured with up to three self-tapping wood screws, forming a rigid and durable structure. In addition, hand-hammered nails are used to anchor the fine string geometry with maximum precision. This construction ensures long-term stability — there is virtually no risk of deformation or disassembly over time.
The lines are intentionally thinner than in previous Colorsuns, allowing for greater accuracy, sharper intersections, and cleaner geometry. Under daylight, the piece reveals a complex harmony of color and structure. Under UV or blacklight, the UV-reactive synthetic acrylic cotton transforms the artwork into a glowing, high-contrast visual field with strong psychedelic energy.
Colorsun #33 is designed for collectors, galleries, creative interiors, and festival or stage environments where scale, precision, and presence truly matter.
