Rainbow Spiral is a hand-woven string art piece built on color rotation, rhythm, and visual balance. The multi-layered spiral geometry creates subtle movement and depth that changes depending on the angle of view — the image feels lively, calm, and energetic at the same time.

This piece was not created as mass production. Each piece is handmade with its own character, even though it is a repeatable motif made to order.

Materials & Construction

• Threads: UV-reactive synthetic acrylic cotton thread by Elian, Ekofil or Bravo

• Base: Recycled wood — salvaged from a pub demolished in the local area, each piece carries a story of transformation and the second life of the material

• Finish: Black matte spray to highlight colors

• Fasteners: Precisely placed nails for clean geometry

Each piece requires approximately 9–10 hours of concentrated manual work — no machines, no automation, just precision, patience and the rhythm of the hands.

The artwork is ready to hang immediately — there is a hole in the corner with a tightening tape threaded through it. All you need is a hook or a screw in the wall.

UV Effect & Atmosphere

The UV reaction is an additional feature, not the main effect. The colors come to life gently under UV light — the exact impression is best experienced in person or through the gallery photos.

Inspiration

This is about the 5th piece from this edition. The motif came about naturally — inspired by an acquaintance from Thailand who is also into string art and party scene decoration. And every time it is strung, one word comes to mind: Rainbow. Unplanned. By itself.
