Transformer is a one-of-a-kind psychedelic artwork created in 2022 as a collaboration of two artists — myself as the string artist, and Paula Lašová, who hand-painted the dotted mandala layer dot by dot 🖐️

This fusion of precise string weaving and organic dotted mandala painting creates a powerful sense of transformation, where two artistic worlds merge into one living visual form.


Designed primarily for home interiors, Transformer reveals its true nature when observed for a longer time. 🔮 The layered geometry, UV-reactive threads, and pulsating dots gradually induce a trippy hypnotic effect, pulling the viewer into a subtle psychedelic flow 🌈

On a personal level, Transformer is especially meaningful to me. It spent years hanging on my wall, a piece I was deeply proud of, and it remains a quiet reminder of a past love and a creative bond that transformed into lasting mutual respect and friendship 💛

-UV-active synthetic acrylic cotton

-Black synthetic spray paint

Tools used:

Hammer, pliers, compressor, spray gun, hot air gun, air-pressure nailer, sandpaper, rulers, protractors, markers — and my own hands 🖐️
